My Memories of Working with Kim Novak and Anthony Perkins
Having worked closely and fondly with Tony Perkins on Crimes of Passion, which I wrote and produced, and with Kim Novak on The Mirror Crack’d, I was eager to talk with them about their experiences working with Hitchcock on Psycho and Vertigo—how he directed them, how he guided them into Norman, Madeleine, Carlotta and Judy, and what he was like with them off-camera. What they told me was fascinating, and completely the opposite. I look forward to sharing those memories at HitchCon '25, in conversation with acclaimed author and film scholar Steven DeRosa.
